However, it wasn’t enough to fend off the Magic, who saw Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero shine with 32 and 30 points, respectively. “We Look Tired”
Lakers head coach JJ Redick didn’t mince words when addressing the team’s performance. “We look tired. I don’t know what contributes to that. We weren’t able to sustain the level of intensity that we started the game with,” Redick admitted.
The Lakers have now lost seven of their last ten games, placing them fourth in the Western Conference. With 11 games left in the regular season, they remain eight wins ahead of the ninth-placed Sacramento Kings, but their recent form is cause for concern.

Elsewhere on the NBA circuit, the Dallas Mavericks celebrated the return of Anthony Davis from an abductor injury with a 120-101 win over the Brooklyn Nets. Davis, who was traded from the Lakers for Doncic, scored 12 points in 26 minutes. This marked his first game back after a six-week absence.
